- Pitcher Tim Lahey was selected from Minnesota in the rule 5 draft, and traded to Chicago (NL) in exchange for cash.[2]
2011
- Infielder Juan Miranda was signed to a minor league contract.[3]
2012
- Infielder James Loney was signed to a Major League contract.[4]
- Pitchers Kyle Lobstein (MLB phase by New York (NL)), Braulio Lara (MLB phase by Miami), and Scott Shuman (Triple-A phase by San Francisco) were lost in the rule 5 draft.[5]
