- Pitcher Ariel Prieto was transferred from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.[3]
- Catcher Paul Hoover was selected from Triple-A Durham.[3]

- Infielder Randall Simon was released.[4]
- Outfielder Midre Cummings was selected from Triple-A Durham.[4]

- Infielder Ryan Garko was activated from the temporarily inactive list at Double-A Montgomery.[5]
