- Infielder Rey Ordonez was acquired from New York (NL) in exchanged for two players to be named.[1]
2003
- Pitchers Mark Comolli (from Toronto), Tim Corcoran (from Baltimore), and Alec Zumwalt (from Atlanta), catcher Adan Munoz (from Atlanta), and outfielders Matt Bowser (from Oakland) and Sergio Contreras (from Anaheim) were selected in the rule 5 draft.[2]
2006
- Infielder Akinori Iwamura was signed to a 3-year Major League contract with a club option for the 2010 season.[3]
- Pitcher Al Reyes was signed to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.[3]
