- Infielder Santiago Rivera was released from Advanced-A St. Petersburg.[1]
1998
- Pitcher Eddie Gaillard was claimed off waivers from Detroit and assigned to Triple-A Durham.[2]
- Pitcher Cecilio Garibaldi was signed to a minor league contract.[2]
1999
- Pitcher Norm Charlton and catcher Joe Oliver were assigned to minor league camp.[3]
2003
- Infielder Damion Easley was signed to a 1-year, Major League contract.[4]
- Infielder Brent Abernathy was optioned to Triple-A Durham.[5]
- Outfielder Jason Tyner was designated for assignment.[5]
- Outfielder George Lombard was outrighted to Triple-A Durham.[5]
- Pitcher Hans Smith was outrighted to Double-A Orlando.[5]
- Infielder Hector Luna, a 2002 Rule 5 Draft selection, was returned to Cleveland.[6]
- Pitcher Al Levine was signed to a minor league contract and assigned to Triple-A Durham.[4]
2005
- Outfielder Dee Brown was released.[7]
- Pitcher Bobby Seay was designated for assignment.[7]
- Infielder Luis Ordaz was assigned to minor league camp.[7]
- Outfielders Alex Sanchez and Chris Singleton were added to the 40-man roster.[7]
- Catcher Kevin Cash was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26, with right shoulder tendinitis.[7]
- Pitcher Franlin Nunez was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 25, with right shoulder tendinitis.[7]
- Outfielder Rocco Baldelli was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 25, following surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee.[7]
2008
- Pitcher Grant Balfour, designated for assignment on March 29, was sent outright to Triple-A Durham.[8]
2010
- Pitcher Virgil Vasquez was acquired from Pittsburgh in exchange for a player to be named and assigned to Triple-A Durham.[9]
