1998
- Infielder Herbert Perry was placed on the 15-day disabled list (knee).[1]
- Outfielder Dwight Smith was released.[1]
- Outfielder Luis Polonia was assigned to Mexico City.[1]
- Pitchers Mark Eichhorn and Rick White, infielder Scott McClain, and catcher Tim Laker were assigned to minor league camp.[1]
1999
- Outfielder Billy Ashley was assigned to minor league camp.[2]
- Pitcher Cory Lidle was placed on the 60-day disabled list with right elbow issues.[2]
2002
- Outfielder Troy O'Leary was released.[3]
2008
- Pitcher Scott Kazmir (left elbow strain) and infielder Ben Zobrist (left thumb fracture) were placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 21.[4]
2009
- Infielders Reid Brignac and Elliot Johnson, catcher John Jaso, pitcher David Price, and outfielder Justin Ruggiano were optioned to Triple-A Durham.[5]
2010
- Infielder Dan Johnson was sent outright to Triple-A Durham.[6]
2011
- Pitcher Rob Delaney was optioned to Triple-A Durham.[7]
2013
- Catcher Chris Gimenez was optioned to Triple-A Durham.[8]
- Outfielders Jason Bourgeois and Shelley Duncan and infielder Mike Fontenot were reassigned to minor league camp.[9]
- Catcher Curt Casali was acquired from Detroit[8] (in exchange for the rights to pitcher Kyle Lobstein, acquired by Detroit in the 2012 Rule 5 Draft) and assigned to Advanced-A Charlotte.[10]
