In 1997, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization sent two representatives to the Arizona Fall League.
Devil Rays minor league infielder Manny Patel played for the Phoenix Desert Dogs and outfielder Greg Blosser played for the Sun Cities Solar Sox that season.[1]
