- Pitcher Marc Valdes was traded to Houston in exchange for infielder Russ Johnson.[1]
2001
- Pitcher Mickey Callaway was optioned to Triple-A Durham.[2]
- Pitcher Ryan Rupe was recalled from Triple-A Durham.[2]
2003
- Pitcher John Rocker was designated for assignment.[3]
- Pitcher Carlos Reyes was selected from Triple-A Durham.[3]
- Outfielder Damian Rolls was activated from the 15-day disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Durham.[3]
2005
- Outfielder Chris Singleton was released after refusing an assignment to Triple-A Durham.[4]
2006
- Pitcher Casey Fossum was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 25, with a left groin strain.[5]
- Pitcher James Shields was recalled from Triple-A Durham.[5]
