- Infielder Marlon Anderson was signed to a Major Leauge contract.[2]
- Pitcher Steve Parris was signed to a minor league contract.[2]

- Pitcher Matt White was outrighted to Triple-A Durham.[3]
2007
- Pitcher Seth McClung and infielder Ty Wigginton agreed to terms on 1-year Major League contracts, avoiding arbitration.[4]
