1996
- Pitchers Juan Rosario and Victor Zambrano[1] and infielder Eddy de los Santos[2] were signed to minor league contracts.
2000
- Pitchers Mike Duvall and Cory Lidle were optioned to Triple-A Durham.[1]
- Pitchers Mickey Callaway, Doug Creek, Terry Mathews, Chris Michalak, and Mark Valdes, outfielders Josh Hamilton and Ozzie Timmons, catcher Paul Hoover, and infielder Ryan Jackson were assigned to minor league camp.[1]
2005
- Pitchers Jason Hammel and Brian Stokes were optioned to Double-A Montgomery.[3]
2007
- Infielders Wes Bankston and Elliot Johnson; and pitchers Jason Hammel and Chris Seddon were optioned to Triple-A Durham.[4]

- Pitcher Mitch Talbot was optioned to Triple-A Durham.[5]

- Double-A: Biscuits vs. Bowie (Baltimore) at Charlotte Sports Park.
- Advanced-A: Stone Crabs vs. Frederick (Baltimore) at the Buck O’Neil Complex in Sarasota, FL.
- Class-A: Hot Rods vs. Delmarva (Baltimore) at the Buck O’Neil Complex.
- Bryan Augenstein, Alex Colome, Hak-Ju Lee, Wilking Rodriguez, Albert Suarez, and Matt Torra were reassigned to minor league camp.[7]
