- Outfielder Rich Butler was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 29 (sore right Achilles).[1]
- Infieler Aaron Ledesma was placed on the 15-day disabled list (dislocated left thumb).[1]
- Outfielder Bubba Trammell was optioned to Triple-A Durham.[1]
- Pitcher Mike Duvall was recalled from Triple-A Durham.[1]
