I know I said that I would be working on these in roughly an earlier-to-later order. However, a representative in the Bowling Green Hot Rods front office (the successor team to the Columbus Catfish, and the same franchise) was kind enough to send me this data in a format that was easy for me to work with.
In any case, there are a couple small points that I may need to correct or clarify. For example: Baseball-Reference.com lists the 2007 Catfish as scoring 664 runs and allowing 561. It doesn't specify if that's regular season only, or including postseason. Regardless, the numbers I've got show the Catfish outscoring their opposition 666-566 in the regular season (and 34-7 in the postseason).
This isn't noted directly on the spreadsheet, but it looks like rain held up a lot of games 18 games were delayed due to rain, 1 suspended (and made up before the next game), 1 cancelled outright (their last game in Kannapolis on 7/24) 3 postponed (and made up before the next game) and 4 postponed only to be cancelled later (their entire final regular season series in Savannah, whom they had a 13-7 record against to that point.
Regardless, the Catfish went on to sweep the Augusta GreenJackets in 2 games in the first round of the South Atlantic League playoffs, and swept the West Virginia Power in 3 to win the League Championship.
Shouldn't be too long now before members of that team start showing up in the bigs: Desmond Jennings and Jeremy Hellickson, most notably. Nevin Ashley, Neil Frontz, Wade Townsend and Ryan Royster were also big contributors.
The spreadsheet is here.
