- Tampa Bay participates in their first ever Major League draft.[1]
1999
- Outfielder Danny Clyburn was optioned to Triple-A Durham.[2]
- Outfielder Quinton McCracken was transferred from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.[2]
- Outfielder Terrell Lowery was selected from Triple-A Durham.[2]
2003
- Infielder Damion Easley was released.[3]
- Infielder Jason Smith was selected from Triple-A Durham.[3]
2004
- Outfielder Charles Gipson was designated for assignment.[4]
- Infielder Jose Bautista was claimed off waivers from Baltimore.[4]
