- Pitcher Eddie Gaillard was optioned to Triple-A Durham from Tampa Bay.[1]
- Pitcher Rick Gorecki was transferred to the 60-day disabled list.[1]
- Pitcher Matt Ruebel was recalled from Triple-A Durham to Tampa Bay.[1]
1999
- Outfielder Quinton McCracken was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a torn ACL in his right knee.[2]
- Outfielder Randy Winn was recalled from Triple-A Durham.[2]
2000
- Pitcher Dwight Gooden and infielder Kevin Stocker were released.[3]
- Pitcher Wilson Alvarez was transferred from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.[3]
- Infielder Felix Martinez was recalled from Triple-A Durham.[3]
- Pitcher Doug Creek was selected from Triple-A Durham.[3]
2001
- Pitcher Mike Judd was activated from the 15-day disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Durham.[4]
- Pitcher Tony Fiore refused an outright assignment to Triple-A Durham and became a free agent.[4]

- Infielder Damian Rolls was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 24, with a chest contusion.[5]
